2022 JFC BOYS INVITATIONAL

Located in Jacksonville, Florida, The Jacksonville FC Boys Invitational is the premier tournament for boys ages U10 - U15 in the southeast. This high-level competition will be held on Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, January 14th - 16th, 2022 at Patton Park. The 2022 JFC Invitational will be tailored to provide an exceptional tournament experience while attracting and promoting the best competition the southeast region of the United States has to offer. The event will be structured as an invite only event, which will include MLS Academy and ECNL teams, along with Elite level competitive teams, to ensure the level of play is at the highest quality.

LEVELS OF PLAY

U13, U14, U15 - MLS NEXT Division

U13, U14, and U15 age groups will offer MLS NEXT brackets in a showcase format. The showcase will offer MLS NEXT and ECNL teams’ meaningful games against new opponents that they do not face in league play. 

U11- U15 - Elite Division

The Elite Bracket will have the highest level teams from across Florida and Southeast United States.

MLS NEXT Division Rules

Roster Size: 18 players are permitted to be rostered per game

 Competition Format: 2 Day Showcase Model (3 Games)

Saturday – 2 Mini Games

Sunday – 1 Full Length Game

 Game Length:  

Saturday - U13 and U14 - 25 Min Halves, U15 and U17 30 Min Halves

Sunday – U13 and U14s – 35 Min Halves, U15 and U17 40 Min Halves

 Substitution Rule:

Unlimited substitutions across 3 moments. Half-time does not count as a moment. 

ELITE Division Rules

Normal Tournament play. Guaranteed 3 group stage games and a final for teams that advance.
