The JFC Bridge Program is specifically designed to transition young players from Recreational to Competitive soccer. This program offers your child the perfect blend of structured training and competitive play, providing a higher level of soccer within a convenient, local setup.
Is the Bridge Program suitable for my child?
The JFC Bridge Program for the Spring 2025 season is open to players born between 2013 and 2018. To join, your child should have previous soccer experience and a basic understanding of gameplay and rules.
Program Details
The Bridge Program maintains a consistent schedule throughout the season, with two training sessions per week and 8 – 10 league games. Games are scheduled on some Friday evenings or Saturdays. Teams are formed by our professional staff after an evaluation period, with games played in 7v7, or 9v9 formats. Participants also can compete in the JFC tournament (Battle at the Beach). **Additional fees apply

Bridge Program Overview
The newly formed JFC Bridge Program will run for the Spring Season of 2025. The cost for the Spring season is $395, with payment plans available. This fee does not include the cost of uniforms. This fee is for only 1 season in the Spring.
Uniforms are ordered online and can be delivered to your home or to the WeGotSoccer Jacksonville store. Once teams are finalized, we will notify you to order the uniform with the assigned number. Please do not order uniforms until you receive this notification. Uniforms are in a two-year cycle with this upcoming season being year one.
Teams are selected through an evaluation process at the start of training to ensure balanced teams and the best playing experience. Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season to maintain competitive balance, at the discretion of the Program Director. All Bridge Program players must be registered with a national league and provide valid proof of birth.
Costs
Program registration: $395 per Season.

Coaches and Training
All Bridge Program teams are coached by a volunteer coach, who handle one of the two training sessions and games. A JFC staff coach will oversee one session and assist on game days. Each team will follow the JFC Bridge curriculum which will be supplied to both the staff coach and volunteer coach. Training sessions are twice a week on a fixed schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays at Patton Park, and/or Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ed Austin.
League, Team Building, and Gameplay
The Bridge Program League features 8-10 game season in the Spring, comprising other similar programs run at Florida Elite and Ponte Vedra Soccer Club. Games are on some Friday evenings or Saturdays. Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season for competitive balance, as determined by the Program Director.
Tournaments
Bridge Program teams may participate in one JFC competitive tournament during the spring season, Battle at the Beach. Additional fees apply if your child's team participates.
