Our Recreational Program is designed to create an environment that provides foundations and fundamentals to all players looking to enjoy the beautiful game. Coaches are volunteers and practice once a week with one game on the weekend during the season. The Recreational Director of Coaching provides sample practices and assistance to all Recreational coaches throughout the season. The age groups range from U7 – U19.

Rec U7-U19 offers players an option for all girl teams or coed teams.

The Rec Program is offered twice a year:

Players who sign up after the deadline listed above will be automatically placed on the Rec Program Wait List. If space is available the child will be placed into the Rec Program. No payment is processed until the child can be placed on a team.

Order Uniforms

JERSEY NUMBERS - When ordering uniforms please choose the player's date of birth day. For example, if your child was born on January 5th, then his/her jersey number should be #5. For twins, choose an alternate high number (i.e., jersey #33).

Rec U7-U19 offers players an option for all girls or coed.

The Rec Program is offered twice a year:

FALL 2026 - Practices start at the beginning of September and the season ends before Thanksgiving. The registration window is May - July 31st.

  • June 15, 2026 – Early Registration Deadline, $25 price increase after 

  • July 15, 2026– Registration Deadline - Deadline for Special Requests 

  • July 15, 2026 - Late Registration - all players will automatically be placed on the waitlist and $25 price increase. 

  • Week of August 31st - U13 to U19 Recreational practices begin 

  • Week of September 7th - First Touch, Jr. Academy and U7 to U12 Recreational practices begin

  • September 12th - First game for U13 to U19 NFRS league

  • September 19th - First game for FTA, JRA and in-house rec 

  • November 7th - Final weekend of games

PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED

Perks of Coaching:

  • Your child is immediately removed from the waitlist and placed on a team.

  • You get to choose your team’s practice day and time (based on field availability).

  • We provide weekly training lesson plans to make running practices simple and fun.

  • You’ll also receive cones and pinnies.

Coaching your child’s team is a rewarding way to get involved while ensuring they have a spot to play this season.

To volunteer to coach, simply complete the coaching question during the registration process and provide your information.

In-House Age Groups:

U7 & U8: 4v4, No Goalkeepers, Size 3 Ball

U9 & U10: 7v7, with Goalkeepers, Size 4 Ball

U11 & U12: 9v9, with Goalkeepers, Size 4 Ball

North Florida Youth Soccer League Ages:

U13 to U19: 11v11, with Goalkeepers, Size 5 Ball

Teams in the NFY league will compete with other local clubs in the area. Home games are played at Patton Park and Ed Austin Park and away games are played at the home site of other clubs in the area. (45-60 mins travel time).

Required Equipment – Soccer Cleats, Shin Guards, Rec Uniform (can be used multiple seasons)
