Coach Kyle Pettican, JFC ECNL Girls Director

Jacksonville FC is proud to announce Kyle Pettican as the club’s new Girls ECNL Director.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Kyle Pettican to Jacksonville FC as our new Girls ECNL Director. After conducting a comprehensive national search, Kyle quickly distinguished himself through his passion for player development, his attention to detail, and his clear vision for building a strong, unified ECNL program. Just as importantly, Kyle is a person of tremendous character who believes deeply in developing players within a positive, family-centered environment. His experience at the Division I level, combined with his commitment to long-term program building, makes him an outstanding addition to our leadership team. We are confident Kyle will play a major role in continuing to elevate the experience and opportunities for our ECNL players and families.

Kyle Pettican brings experience across collegiate, academy, and youth development environments to Jacksonville FC. Most recently, he served on the women’s soccer staff at Bowling Green State University after spending seven years working within the Philadelphia Union organization, including as an assistant coach with the Union Development Squad in the Philadelphia Union Academy.

Pettican has also held leadership roles in youth development, serving as the 11v11 Director of Coaching for Pennsylvania Rush Soccer and co-founding Unity FC, a youth club that has supported more than 300 athletes since its launch in 2017. He was named Colonial Division Coach of the Year while leading Central Bucks South High School to its first division title and a state championship appearance.

A former player at Cabrini University, Pettican holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Soccer Coaching Education and Sports Science from Ohio University. He holds his U.S. Soccer A License and the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma.

I would like to sincerely thank Pat Cannon and the Jacksonville FC Board for the trust and confidence they have placed in me to lead the Girls ECNL program. It is an incredible honor to join an organization that is nationally recognized and widely respected for its commitment to excellence, player development, and its impact within the soccer community.

Jacksonville FC has built a remarkable reputation for developing talented players and outstanding young people, and I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to that continued success. The Girls ECNL platform represents a high standard of competition and development, and I look forward to working alongside the talented coaches, dedicated players, and supportive families that make this club so special.

My family and I are truly excited to begin this new chapter. We look forward to becoming part of the Jacksonville community, embracing life in Florida, and building meaningful relationships both on and off the field.
